    Default Birthday

The day before my next birthday, my girlfriend's son, Matthew, turns 18. So, my girlfriend has decided that we're going marlin fishing to celebrate the respective birthdays, on the east cape of Baja California. It's not that expensive, and the resort looks fantastic.

I can only hope I get some great photos like the barramundi on a separate thread.

Good luck kevin! I hope you all catch a bunch. I believe you will enjoy the experience whether you catch anything or not...Rusty.

Now I know why we haven't been hearing as much from Kevin lately. I had been wondering about that...Rusty

All the best Kevin it will be fun just going after them, hope you catch one. I've always been interested in Marlin but haven't got around to doing anything about it yet.
The actor Lee Marvin visited Cairns on a regular basis fishing for Marlin. I have been a keen fly man for trout.

    Kevin,
Have a great trip! Which part of the East Cape?

Any plans for diving? Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park/Reserve is near by.

We have a day for anything else we want to do, but since my girlfriend bought me the trip, she can decide what to do that day.

Since she'd rather go fishing, or shooting, than watch opera, I'm not too worried.
