The options seem $325 without a belt, and $350 with a belt, which looks to be an EDC Padded Omni belt from the pictures on the site...

Has any one got feedback on the frame design on this and the shape charge yet? I was waiting to order until reviews started.

    Thanks

I'd speculate that it's pretty much an Omni suspension. A closeup pic of the lumbar area would confirm if it's got the ultra cush suspension that I think of as "G2". A framesheet AND 18" stays sounds intriguing, but packs with an opening like this can stack pretty tall if you want them to, like the Zulu, ZXR.... Lifter straps also can be diverted up there too....

Eric, any chance you could show more of the suspension?

The Hooligan has the same back panel as the Shapecharge and does take the EDC Omni waist belt. The back panel is made from 8mm spacer mesh with a patch of Tuff grip lumbar material at the bottom. For those of you who have a Antero, the panel construction is very similar. The frame sheet is much more a part of the total system compared to the Antero however. It goes the full length and width of the pack and offers a much more stable ride. The idea behind this pack was very much in the vein of the Zulu per Rob's observation. We didn't have a smaller internal frame rucksack style pack and a lot of the components from recent packs fell into place to make a burly little pack that can stack up to a much bigger total package. I will try to get some photos posted up by tomorrow so you guys can get a closer look. Let me know if you guys want to see anything else.
