Default Micro Rondy: Early Spring Boondocking!

Here are a few pics of a recent weekend Patrick and I spent out in our RVs camping, shooting, hiking, and fishing. Even though the wind was nearly constant, our campsite was tucked up into a draw, and the wind blew right over the tops of the trees. Without a power line or house light in sight, it was a quiet, relaxing weekend!

Patrick's Marlin 30-30 on the left and my Marlin 38/357 on the left.

Hiking down into a nearby canyon full of trout!

Patrick, trying his hand at tenkara.

    God's country!

Looks like you were having fun. Was the fish still sluggish or did they know it was officially spring? As it is still snowing in the Springs today.

I caught around 10 or so in a couple of hours. I'd say they wanted to eat.
