    Default 6.5 Creedmoor?

Been looking at the ballistics on this fairly new cartridge and like what I am seeing. Savage makes a stainless Ultra Lite rifle and so does Kimber in their Adirondack. I am shooting a Tika T3 Ultra Lite fluted right now in 308 Win. Anyone here have a chance to own, shoot this cartridge yet?

Been running it for 5 years now. It out runs the .308 in every way and with hornadys new bullet offerings it really goes good. Farthest i have killed a deer is just short of 600 and that was with the 140 amax.

Love the 6.5CM! Spanks 308 all day. Aside from pure Ft/Lbs energy also outperforms 300WM

Might also be fun to discuss how much better this is than a .260 Remington....

I love my .260 Remington. Took an elk at 387 yards or so, no problems. It's also a great antelope and deer gun!
120 speer hot cor and 125 partitions are the business!

H22 you may have to wait a long time for the 6.5 to top the 300 wm. Good cartridge, yes. Better than anything else, no. When one compares apples to oranges it all depends on which you like best and or what dessert you might be making with them.
