    Default Wtb pulk sled

I am looking to buy a winter pulk sled and harness, either kifaru or granite gear or? Let me know what you have.

    Thanks

You can build one way cheaper. Mine cost less than $150 to build.

    Just a suggestion.

+1. Check out posts in the winter rondy threads. You'll see a few of the ACE hardware mods that were inspired by this "free resource" on the HPG site: http://www.hillpeoplegear.com/FreeRe...6/Default.aspx

Built mine for pretty cheap, I think maybe $60 after all was said and done. I had my local ACE hardware direct order it and got it for $40.00.

I still always wanted a Kifaru version, cause they rock, but I put many miles snowshoeing into some winter camps and hauling crap to and from the garage with my home-made.

Mine is built out of a Jet Sled from cabelas. About $60, and the yoke/harness system is from Kifaru. Another $60 I think. I've been pulling mine around for several years now.

One of my favorite pictures. This is my homemade pulk that I built over ten years ago with a pole and hardware kit from PulkyED on this forum.

The one in the sled is driving now and my son is playing college baseball. My dog is still around too although she is pretty grey now and I don't think she could handle a long trek in the woods.

Great pic ggaff! I think that I'm going to open a thread on pulks in the general discussion.

    Thanks
