    Default Chest Holsters

Looking for any recommendations on a chest draw holster.

I have been doing a lot of work around my property and usually wearing heavy winter clothing or in the summer some overalls that don;t hyave a belt loop.

Looking for any ideas on a hoster to put my H&K P30 in while working in the fields or woods..

    Thanks
    Peace

yes, I assume you mean something like the recon kit bag etc. ?

they seem to ride a little high.. but I did not think of that route..

Any experience with using that in the the setup I am looking for?

I've used just about everything they make. I do all my hunting and woods bumming in a kit bag but not actual outdoors work. Saying that I don't see the kit bag being a hindrance in any real activity.

yeah I may just take a stab at the Heavy Recon, never thought of using it while I am hunting etc.. instead of fumbling in my pockets for stuff...

If you don't need it concealed, Gunfighters,Inc has their Kenai Chest Holster and they have your H&K model listed. I have their Ronin and Wraith's for all three of my handguns and they fit perfect.

yes I looked at them. I don't need concealed but I like the idea of being able to not only carry my pistol but other gear also....

Plus it keeps it (HPG) covered when I am digging fence posts etc...

Definitely limited with the Kenai. My suggestion with the HPG kit bags is get one with the full front pocket. I you don't need it and just carry the gun, it lays almost as flat as the one with no compartment or molle on front.

If the h&k is sized the same or smaller (no bigger) you can fit in their snubby platform and it takes up a lot less on your chest. Good when it's hot.
