    Default Zippy and Mini Longs

    Hey guys,

I know how you always like photos, so thought I would put some up of a Zippy with 2 Mini Long Pockets on the front. I like this setup, because you have lots of organization without a lot of bulk, and easy access to everything.

I forgot to comment on the first photo that shows how low profile and narrow this setup is. I will also say it looks even better in person !

    Mel,

Can you tell me if it will fit a 15" laptop? The dimensions look like it should, but thought I'd ask. This may become my new EDC bag since the X-Ray is a bit too much for my daily needs and the E&E a bit too small to hold the laptop. Though either way I'll probably end up ordering one

No problem with a 15" laptop.

Is this preferable to side mounted pockets?

Side pockets are better for maybe heavier/bulkier items you want to keep closer to your back, while rear pockets give a narrower profile. In urban environments or very thick bush narrow is good.

    Hey guys,

We designed the Zippy to have a real usable PALS grid with 5 rows and 4 channels on the side doors and 5 rows and 6 channels on the front. There are tons of MOLLE pockets out there that will work well with that grid pattern depending on your needs. Here are a couple more shots of the Mini Longs on the side doors and an Organizer on the front.

The more I look at this pack the more I like it. I love the idea of D&L it to my ZXR.
