If all else fails, check the bowsite link in the first post in this thread.
It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't, everyone would do it. The hard...is what makes it great.

Aron's review is up on the Outdoorlife Webpage.
We had to have Obama to get Ron Paul
I hope that isn't a "sleeping bag compartment".
Hey guys, here is the link to Aron's review and be sure to click onto the photo link at the bottom of the review.

Nice pack!!!! Does the Timberline have the duplex suspension system? phil
none
Patrick,
Any word on the price?
Phil, the Timberline does not have the Duplex suspension with removable frame. I think the easiest way to describe it would be a Longhunter bag with Wraptech Plus Suspension (like on the ZXR), with the addition of 2 dimensional slot pockets (one on each side) and 2 300ci utility pockets on the front. The majority of the weight savings over the Longhunter comes from not using the G2 Duplex frame and using composite stays. It should be that perfect middle ground between the Longhunter and the KU5200.

TAK that bottom zipper gives access to the bottom of the pack. Inside, there's a flap that can be engaged across the bottom at the zipper level. (You can also leave it "down" for straight through top-to-bottom pack interior.) The engaged flap serves two main purposes: 1) Meat shelf. Getting heavy loads of meat up in the lumbar region is how heavy loads should be carried--much more comfort. 2) Yes, you can use it as a sleeping bag divider. Some guys will like a bag divider function; ALL guys will like the meat shelf function. Including you. Trust me.
