Edited update; the Military, Hunting and the Tipi & Shelter Photo Album forums now appear to be in order, but the others are still scrambled.
Scroll down and look to the left and your sort box is probably set to sort by thread title and I think the reason that it seems somewhat in chronological order is that there have been a bunch of z & w first letter threads lately. Set it to go last post date, but I have yet to figure out how to keep it that way.

Try switching to 'hybrid mode' in the display mode tab on the upper right of the thread. Seems to be working for me, just have to nevermind the 'threaded' sectionat the top.

    Default display should be fixed

Display is now newest to oldest, however, you can override this in your CP.

Thanks for all your hard work Maggie. The new site is very nice. Big improvement. First Class.
Hope you can get back to a "normal" routine. I haven't run into any problems.

Hello Guys. Very nice to meet all of you.

I am new in this forum and as you can guess, I am from Sweden. I want to introduce myself. (and test if it works to post anything)

I am a hiker, not so much into fishing. I have in my mind to buy me an EMR with two long pockets, a claymore, a stash-it, and a back pouch. The economic recession makes me to hesitate. The Swedish currency has decreased down to the basement in comparison to the U.S. dollar. Any way, all comes to those who waits.

    Take care and be safe

    Welcome Swede!

Interesting, your observation about the two currencies.

I'm hanging back on a Bivanorak (Hilleberg) for quite a while now,
waiting to see if the price adjusts... Good luck with your EMR.

    Thank you, Jack

I have for the moment a Berghaus Vulcan, 100 litre, but as always want to change the gear. Kifaru is the Rolls Royce of backpacks, and frankly, my backpack is to small sometimes. To hike a whole day and set up a camp by a river or a lake, and perhaps open a beer. Could life be better than that? I do not think so.

I think I have three pair of boots. Bought some Matterhorn from Texas, its a gamble to buy things like that online, but it worked out well. I´m pleased with them and I have used them for a long time now.

    take care

I'm new to this forum. I hav'nt packed in years, but alwayslike to have a kit in the 4x4.Now with everything in the air,I'm wanting a good backpacking outfit,[read shtf/bug out]and get back into using the skills that were fun as a kid.
I'm 6'1" barrel chested,[ie overweight] heavy equip mech,in the "State of Jefferson".
I've got to sell a few toys I hav'nt used in a while for pack, tent and bag.
Now,Is this equipment at Kifaru that good?
I think I want the Paratipi w/ stove,I'm not sure about the bag and pack.I'll probably be a fair weather backpacker[I also have horse] for a while;but if the life of this gear is that long I won't have to buy anymore.[I know,it's like tools and guns] Thanks Jefferson Herb

In a word, yes, Kifaru equipment is that good. From the design, to the manufacture, to the customer service Kifaru is world class all the way and probably the best in the world at what they do.
