I can't begin to match the pictures you all post up but I thought I might share this one. I had taken my four year old boy, Gage, on his first hunt last weekend. It was an antlerless deer hunt in my home state of Wisconsin. We took it very easy and goofed around more than hunted. I have been meaning to take more pics of my family with our 11 yeard old lab, Uma, and decided to test my patience and pose my son and dog. It captured a great day for me.

Keep getting your son and dog out and enjoy them on such outings as often as possible. I could dig out many of pics of my son at that age with our beloved choc lab. Son is now a bruising high school football player in his senior year too wrapped up in his football season and school to get out and fish and hunt as often as we'd both like. Next he has an eye towards college and will be busy with applications and big decisions. And the dog, he has been long gone and remains irreplaceable. keep up the good work with your son. Good job to you.
