Converting to quicktime with the h.264 codec would probably be a lot easier as well, and would allow the viewer to skip forward (or backward) if they wanted.

...except that I won't run apple software on a windows machine, and I don't have any macs sitting around.
We are fortunate in this matter that your conduct will be your marker and, thus, your reputation. The conduct of others on this forum has been, and will continue to be, their marker, and thus, their reputation. In the west, a person invests in one's reputation carefully. - 112Papa
There's a program that you can download called "quicktime alternative" that actually works really well. It will allow you to play .mov files, and it's not associated with Apple in any way. They also make one for real player- it's called "real alternative". I'm sure you could find it with a quick google search.

Well timbertiger, I hope they get over being video "stars". They are thoroughly delightful young 'uns. Their persistence on Crawdad Duty was impressive. Everybody in camp had roasted crawdad aplenty. Must have caught hundreds of the critters. You can take great pride in your timbertiger girls.
Well, here it is february.........????
Howdy Huntsman, just noticed this prompt from ya. When we finish with the task of getting all this G2 gear Introduced I plan on writing up my Season right here, culminating with a bison report from a couple of days ago. You might say it's been an extended season. Tell you what, if I don't get this done by Rendezvous we'll do it via a verbal narrative!
I seem to be the only one who can't get these to load. I get a "404 file not found message" when I click on the links. I have been able to view the rest of the videos in the past.
moosedog, I think you're not the only one. Last I heard from Maggie she hadn't "found" them from when the Board was transferred to this new format. And she's been hammered with working on the new website and the new gear ever since. Got pulled off, in other words. I think we can count on her eventually getting back to completing this "loose end".
