    Re: K-connector conversion kit

I'm a big fan of field expedient male buckles (read: Rob took a hacksaw & a file to them, or, actually can lay hands on one of the dozen or so "ITW Nexus Split Bar Latch"s I've actually bought that...

    Re: X-Ray falling away

I've owned an X-Ray. I think the issue you're having is because you're treating it like a backpack instead of the lumbar pack it truly is. My advice is to loosen up the shoulder straps, a LOT, so...

No, long since traded off. That was my first Kifaru. It was a G1, right when the G2s came out, and the pockets were on sale too.

    Re: Kifaru Native Setup

    From PDW's site:
"This pack accessory is being offered at our cost while supplies last."

    Re: Kifaru Native Setup

Agree 100%. But, I think Jauwater's setup of using the Native *with* a lid makes more sense than using a Native *AS* a lid.

Nice setup Jauwater. If you're thinking of adding a frame sheet,...

    Re: Taller E&E

Umm, X-Ray? (I know, it's wider too, but, really what it seems you're asking for is a narrow X-Ray, but without all of the internal PALS webbing.)

I do have proof of "out growing" its...

Consistency is key. I write my info on the inside of zipper flaps. Black it out with a sharpie if you sell it. More visible than a belt flap.. I dread getting stuff swiped...

    Re: Marking on packs

I got an OD Military Division Marauder for $50.
