WW, have you put a stove jack into a Shangri-La 5 for a Kifaru, or similar, stove? I have an SL-5 and am thinking about getting one of the new oval stoves, a Medium High wall version. I wanted to get your thoughts on that and any suggestions on how and where to put the stove jack on the SL-5...Larry Schwartz
  2. The stove is a Ti goat rollup stove made from Ti foil. I guess someone could make one but it could be a but tricky. A small SS container is very easy to make into a packable stove even if this takes up more pack room. The stove pipe is Kifaru roll up SS. For the pipe Stainless is just fine.

Hey Woods, I've always with alot of interest all your posts and I found a thread you have over on zombie squad about making a cheap packable stove. I'm in the process of doing this exact thing and I was wondering where you get your Ti stovepipe?

    Is it from Tigoat?

Do you think you could use the Ti foil they sell and make your own?

What about using the Tif foil to make a stove with? or is to thin and fragile?

    Anyways, thanks alot, Dennis
