My wife lit a fire under me to complete my current woodcarving backlog before I could start any new projects. Here is the latest finished one. It was started about 10 years ago. Then life got in the way.

Absolutely beautiful. Where do I get in line? Will you do a cutt?

Sawtooth,
Sure I could do a cutt. Right now you are the line. I have some people that ask if I could do a this or a that but that is as far as it goes. They sure make for nice home decor and conversation pieces.

Wow, nice work Hoogster! Impressive! I have a relative that carves decoy style. Mostly birds but has done some fish. I have a rainbow and a brown trout that love. Takes some skill!

Just participated in a WoodCarving Show sponsored by the Pikes Peak Whittlers. These are the pieces that I entered. The oval elk received 2nd place in the INTARSIA Category. The Elk Bust received a 2nd place in the REALISTIC ANIMAL Category. And the trout recieved a 1st place ribbon in the Intermediate REALISTIC FISH Category and the BEST-IN-DIVISION. The trout also was runner-up for BEST-IN-SHOW. For a size reference, the trout is 18" long.

WOW X2

I would like to be in line also. A cutthroat would like nice on my desk at work.

Shoot me a PM with the cost and availability.

Again, congrats on the blue ribbon carvings.
