Hi,
saw this on Assaultweb.net and thought it might be of interest to y'all. Looks like a good alternative to Malice clips.

Jan:

I was turned on to the ANNEX clips last year by Gear Guru. I found out who made them (ITW/Nexus), and had a bunch sent to the shop. After looking them over and playing with them, we decided to pass. We already had the Dock and Lock System for a quick attach system, and will use Malice Clips for those wanting an alternate attachment system. I used the ANNEX clips on some Tactical Tailor pouches I have, and mounted them to a pack and a MAV vest. The one thing that I noticed was that the clips would pop open if hit on the side. It didn't seem to take much of a hit to make it happen either. Maybe this wouldn't happen all the time, and it doesn't necessarily mean the pouch would come off, but it was disconcerting nevertheless. The prongs and locking lugs just don't seem too sturdy, but that could be a misconception. Also, with the hinge, you have more moving parts to worry about. Another thing, is that they are much bulkier behind the pouch than a Malice Clip. Some people may find favor with the ANNEX clips, but for now, Kifaru will stay with the Dock and Lock System and Malice Clips.

Hi I've made a patrol pack using annex clips and I would have to agree with mell .The annex clip seems to be good for small pouchs on the hip belt as you can attach them on and off quickly. yours
