Looking to invest in one of the two. Those that have used either care to give some insight. Hows is the 6-man to back pack in etc. Looks like alot of folks are going to the 6-man and selling their four man Tipi's. Thanks

treeguyus- What is your typical hunting scenario with regards to # of hunters in your party, length of stay, distanced packed to camp etc...

Four is the most and most times just two. We pack in about 2-4 miles. Typically we stay 4-to 7 days. Have a main camp and want to use the Tipi for a spike camp. Thanks for the reply-Treeguy

treeguyus- You sound like a candidate for an 8 man.

Are you using horses for the first stretch or is the whole thing on your back? If you are carrying both base and spike camp, I'd be thinking para or 4 at MOST because you'll be hauling two camps. If you are getting a lift to the base, then take the 6 or 8 if you ever plan on 4 guys in it. I have the 6. It's not a 4 man tent. You'll cram in need be, but if 4 is in the offering, you'll be wanting the 8. I think the 6 is the best 2 man tent ever, assuming you don't have to hual it too far/high.
