8 man tipi question

Saw this on the specs about the 8 man tipi - but don't really see anyone talking about the options.


8 Man UL 5 lbs. 3 lbs.
8 Man Standard 7 lbs.

Is there a performance difference between the two? I think the only thing different is the netting and not overly sure what the netting would do for me - but to save 2lbs is nice.

Any opinions on which version to go with would be greatly appreciated.

Not 100% sure, but thought Kifaru only do the UL fabric now.

Any time you can get stronger and lighter it's a win/win situation.

The only decisions now are which color, coyote brown or white?

And do you want the optional mosquito netting which adds 1 pound to the 8 man tipi?
