Hey Bushcraft is it happening this year and if so when? We are very short handed at work and I need to have foot surgery sometime this summer so knowing the timing soon would help me a lot!

Snakey and all fellow NW Rondy types:

I believe the 2014 version will take place July 18-19-20.
Location TBD, but the local consensus is pointing to a drive-up camp where the whole family can attend without enduring a Bushwhackesque adventure.
Allen is off in Alberta chasing black bears someplace, but I'll see if we can get a location nailed down and send it out ASAP.

This sucks, I will miss the Rondy in Colorado because I am in Washington, and I will miss the NW Rondy because I'll be in Colorado.

Bring your bow. if you're near Denver, I'll take you to fling some arrows somewhere.

Thanks Randy I will look to those dates and maybe one week on either side and see what I can do. I would hate to miss the gathering just because I didn't plan properly.

I'll be spending the majority of my time in Colorado in Highlands Ranch and I will most definitely bring the bow.

I'm 10 minutes from Highlands Ranch.

I need to sit down and talk with you about hunting in Colorado. I've only done OTC tags in Washington and Oregon so I need some input/help. I should be in Colorado approximately three weeks, around 27 June.

Yeah we will all have to get together and do some shooting for sure. Widow you got my number so when it gets close to time for you to be out here. Give me a call. Kevin and me are both in Littleton.

Any more info on it? Those dates firm?

Yes Thom. The dates Randy originally posted are correct.

July 18-19-20.

We'd really like to find a drive up place where we could shoot, fish, and perhaps take in a scenic hike or two without the bugs being too bad. Tall order, I know.

Bush I will just be glad to get to it this year. Lots of things going on but I will do my best. I may be a bit gimped up as I may have my foot cut on right after the 4th but might get to hold off until after the Rondi. Life is in flux right now so a Rondi would help calm me down. Hope I can work it out.
