Will a High Camp 4800 fit correctly on the EMR (26") frame?

Yes. All duplex bags work with all duplex frames.

I just bought an EMR frame and a 4800 to build a new pack. Works perfectly.

That's good to know.

My question: isn't there a two inch difference in the MMR and EMR frame length? So how would the same pack attach at the bottom with the slider buckles if it was up two inches higher?

Yes there is a 2" difference between the MMR and EMR, but it really doesn't matter when putting the bag on the frame. Someone from Kifaru can explain it better, but just know that it works.

Agree. Worked fine For me. I didn't even know there was an issue with a longer length the frame.

Thanks. Thinking about getting one in highlander. Anyone got pics of coyote pockets on highlander?

When I get home I can show you coyote brown next to my kryptek hunting gear. It looks fine. The Kryptek is a bit lighter brown then the Coyote but it looks great.

Yeah, that looks OK. It's actually just about the same color on a small part of it where the brown is fading on the highlander.

I have a few more questions about the High Camp. First, I haven't been able to get a good look from any pics or videos I've reviewed: is there a grab loop on the bag at the top? Haven't found any pics showing this side of the pack. And, I don't think there is (but it would be nice if there was;) is there a single compression strap that goes over the top of the bag under the lid like the Zulu or MMR? Lastly, I'm wondering if the pockets I already own will fit at the bottom on the sides. I realize that they are made for fitting belt pouches. What I want to know is will my lock and load #6's fit there (dimensions 6"x7"?)

I might be mistaken, but I think the grab loop at the top that you can use is the one that is is on the duplex frame.

Another question I would like answered is why don't all the Lock and Load pockets have the same mounting system as the belt pouches? Something I've noticed in mounting Lock and Loads externally is that if the webbing is at all loose there's a good chance that the slider will pull out of it's mounted position. So, naturally, my second question is: where can I get some of those smaller sliders that pull though the bigger 3 bar slider to lock it in place (like on the belt pouches) and what are they called? Actually, maybe this deserves a new thread to make sure it gets answered...

The grab loop on the duplex frame itself gets covered by the bag. The timberline bags all have another grab loop on the bag itself. Not sure about the highcamps.
Looking at this thread, it doesn't look like the highcamp's have a grab loop (might be a prototype though): http://www.kifaruforums.net/showthread.php?t=31408

The bigger 3 bar sliders have been standard through-out all of Kifaru's lock and loads since lock and loads were introduced. They work fine with standard 1.5" spacing PALS webbing. The smaller 3 bar sliders were put on the belt pouches because the hunting line only has 1" spacing on their PALS webbing. Then people started using the belt pouches on the 1.5" spacing PALS webbing and the pouches started slipping out. So Kifaru started putting both the larger and smaller 3 bar sliders on the belt pouches.

Make sure when you T off the larger 3 bar slider, half of it goes on top of the PALS webbing.

The smaller sliders that were coupled with the standard 3 bar on my belt pouches are not plastic. They are metal. Thanks for looking for the answer to the grab loop question (Ryan.) Of all the photos and videos I could find, none seem to show the right angle to adequately view this part of the pack. The problem with the standard 3 bars for attaching externally on pals rather than common loops is that if the mounting surface goes slack or tension is not retained the sliders can turn over and slip out. I've had it happen and wasn't being rough at all with my equipment, it was just sagging a bit and the pals channel was slightly stretched from other things I had mounted there.
