So last year propper was clearancing off its adventure tech line and I picked up thei level VII cold weather parka for $50. Its light weight supper comfy, really ugly, but seems perfect for my winter camping because of its light weight and compressability. Was wonderng if anyone has any real world experence with one. I'm trying to gauge just how cold I can take it and with what layering needed. Alo trying to gauge its durability, its soft plush exterio doesn't seem like it would survive in the woods hiking and wonder if I would need to layer a hardshell over it.

I had one for a few months but recently sold it. They are more durable than they look, but it is a puffy type jacket. I just used mine around camp or as an overcoat to keep me warm when I stopped to glass. I have a much smaller one now, thus the sale of the Propper.
