So I have a Timberline 2 with Grabit. 2 Long Pockets. I shoot a Hoyt crx35 which is a 35 inch ATA Bow. It either rides really high up. or maybe I need to mount my Grabit lower on the pack and let the bow ride below the bottom of the pack.

Here is a photo. Can I see some examples of a Kifaru Pack with Bow on it so I can get some ideas? Going to play with this a bit to see what I can work out.

Think this will work.....

It hangs low so I will have to be careful when putting the pack down Thats a Large pod on the bottom. Maybe I can fill that up with light stuff to make it even with as low as the bow goes. hmmm See Told you this pack **** is a sickness =-) or maybe move the Pod to the Top and put my Ridge rest on the bottom and that will even it out.

Ohh look at this. The ridgerest fits in the large Kifaru Pod perfectly. This will protect it on the bottom when setting the pack down.

Think this is the ticket.....

Put the ridgerest in the Large pod to keep it from getting snagged and screwed up in the field. hung the Grabit lower on the pack. Bow is now evenly distributed along the pack it still hangs a bit lower but at least I can still set the pack up against a tree without the bottom of my bow hitting the ground.

I hate that I have a 31 inch draw sometimes. Shooting a 32 inch or shorter ATA bow just doesnt work well for me at all. not to mention they dont make many 32 ata bows that can go to 31 inch draw. There is one benefit to having a 31 inch draw. I dont need to cut arrows at all when I buy them =)hehe Next picture will be with the longs attached see how that looks. Hope you guys are enjoying this. Im kind of getting my pack fix and helping the cabin fever blues Man I cant wait to get out in the woods.

How are you hooking up the tri-glides of the grab-it to the middle of the pack?

See I was hoping to share ideas here on configurations and maybe others would chime in with their ideas or configurations. If I can offer something that will help others and others can do the same for me =-)

Want to throw a shout out to Chris aka porcupinemtns66 He saw my post here and how ghetto my pack is looking with the Foilage Longs on multicam pack and is trading me his MC for my Foilage. Really freakin cool. Thanks again Chris. My XLT Lid should be here tomorrow. Will have to throw some updated photos on here when I get this all settled.

Now if I can find someone with a Large Multicam Pod that wants to trade for Foilage Pod Id be sitting pretty but Im not to worried about that. Love the Pods. If you dont have any of them. Get em. They hold a ton of gear and really compliment the Timberline Packs well to add additional gear to them. I will update also on my Nimrod Pinnacle connecting it to the Timberline 2 tomorrow. It is a fantastic Day Pack. I already have a good idea how I am attaching it.
