View Full Version : Slick bag question

I just received my new Slick bag-0 degrees, regular length, wide. It is awesome.

My question is- how do you store it when not in use? Do you store outside of any bag and folded over a rack or is it OK to store it in the stuff sack ( not compressed )?

Thanks for your thoughts,

I have a rather large canvas duffel bag...very similar to an older style military duffel....and I just dump mine in there, hang it from a clothes rack, and store it. It is not compressed, and the canvas fabric allows the sleeping bag to breath.

i store my bags, down & synthetic laying flat out on the floor, usually over other gear. tents, tarps, puffy pants & jackets, but i keep them on top.......i realize not everyone has the room to do this though....whatever you can do to maximize the fluffy loftness will help

my bag hangs up in the rafters of my garage.drape it across three of them and its pretty well "laid out" up there

Mine reside under my bed.

Mine are stored in a $3 mesh laundry bag from Target, one per bag. Then they hang in the closet. The laundry bag is large enough to allow for the Slick bags to loft.

I hang them head and foot from two hangers in closet. phil

I store most of my gear in plastic totes down in the basement. I stack them on a table or shelving with some duct tape on the ends for labeling of contents.
