I just ordered my Timberline today, but I am having second thoughts about the waistbelt sizing. I am a 32" waist, which they said I was right on the line between regular and small. In the past, on my Mystery Ranch pack, the small waistbelt was almost too big. I am wondering what you guys would suggest as far as whether I should get the size small or stick with the regular. My gut feeling is the small would be the better fit, but I also want to remember that this is a hunting pack and the potential for wearing layered clothes might make my waist a bit larger. Thanks for the input!

Answered you on AT... Haha. But get a small. I am a 33 inch waist and needed a small. I bottomed out a medium belt with 50 lbs in it.

Small all the way.

+1 for the small. I'm a 32" waist, and I made the expensive mistake of going with the regular.

Thanks for all the replies guys! I already emailed Angie to change it to a small waistbelt. Now I just have to wait til April 17th for my ship date. I always have struggled with patience...

The one thing you need with Kifaru is patience. They are the best packs though.

I am a 32 most of the time also, I figured a small would be better for those longer trips where you drop a waist size mid way through the trip.
