Do the KU packs have attachment points inside where say a Grab-it could be hung to make a shelf to keep a meat load up between the compression straps and keep it from winding up as a ball in the bottom of the pack? This would give a fellow the ability to better balance and control the dead weight (pardon the pun) of 80 or so lbs (about all I want to carry) of boned out meat.

My 5200 does not, but I suppose the bladder compartment could be used in that role (not sure how much it would hold?).

Thanks for the info I was just curious. This will not stop me from getting one of course.

Ridgetop, our Meat Baggies are tall and narrow--to accomplish just what you're talking about. Also, the Grab-It can be hoisted upward, pulling the bottom of the pack upward, from the outside.

on the KU5200 is there a place at the top under the lid to tie off the top of the meat bag ?

Tim, yes, you can do so at the attachment webbing loops for the Chamber Pocket.
