Don't know hawkvittles, but the recipes look tasty.

I'll put in a plug here for buying your own dehydrator if you haven't already. I finally broke down and did so about a month ago. Can't imagine doing without one now. It is so easy to use, just a part of the normal cooking cycle. Made a batch of soup last night. Ate the soup for dinner, put some of the leftovers in the fridge for eating over the next couple of days, put the rest in the dehydrator overnight. Done. Simple.

You might want to checkout ADK forum. The creator of Hawk Vittles, Redhawk, posts over there. I have thought of trying them myself, have read nothing but good reviews.
