I posted a while back about getting into reloading. I finally did it, got my bench built, and got started. And didn't even blow myself up!

I can see where this will get addicting in a hurry. Right now I'm just loading for my son's wildcat 25-223 (a gift of a rifle from an old friend). Kind of like there's no such thing as a free dog. This gun (a custom modified Sako) cost me more in reloading equipment and "stuff" than a new off the shelf rifle would have. But like I said, its getting fun in a hurry.

Anybody have any 270 WSM recommendations for bullets/loads. I love Accubonds in factory ammunition, but haven't bought anything yet to load it with.

I have loaded for it. When i get home I'll dig out my logs to give specifics. I do know I was using reloader 19 , I tried 3-4 types of bullets, I had the best results with barnes tsx and the barnes mrx bullets. I also loaded sierra boatails, and i believe hornaday. I was loadind for a Winchester model 70

I loaded the following use at you discression I followed safe loading practices and worked up to these:

Win new brass, rem 91/2Mag primer 64.5grains reloader 19 130g barnes 27783 mrx bullet

win new brass, rem 9 1/2 mag primer 63.1 g reloader 19, 140g sierra boatail #1845 3079fps as measured with my oehler chrono 10fps variation between rounds

Both loads are below max just a hair, these both shot very accurate in my rifle
