Finally broke away from work for the first time in the season. Planned to hunt three days strait until the last day of the season
. First morning of the hunt I only located one group of pronghorns. 20 does and the buck I shot. I set up over a waterhole and was ready to dig in for 3 warm days in the sun. I had a different buck come by me at 60 yards. He headed over to the herd and the herd buck gave chase. He bird dogged the lesser buck for 30 minutes before they called it a truths. Then they decided it was time for a drink. The dominate buck came in first and I made short work of him as he went to water at 16 yards.
He went another 15 yards before coming to his final resting place! Quick hunt but fun!

Nice work, sounds like fun, good looking buck. I think Sawtooth and I passed you on the road a few weeks ago, hope all is well.

Thanks guys. I took the pics from a tripod and timer. Majority of my hunts are solo so I take most of my pics by myself.

Good work Justin! It's a love/hate when a plan comes together so quickly. Glad ya got something, sad you have to go home so early.

Nice buck! It is great when all things come together even if it does shorten the season a bit.
