Hey Mel,

If I buy 100yds of Crye multicam webbing and send it to you, can it be used on a Marauder instead of the CB webbing? If so, should I get the textured yarn version? Has this been done before? Is it too much multicam? It's just an idea I had, but I'm sure I'm not the first.

Thanks

David

ps. I love my G1 X-Ray!

I just had this done on a MC scout(I need to post some pics). I worked w/Janice, I don't think customer service gets any better then her. There is a mark-up on the price but it is well worth it(most custom work cost more).

Hope this helps

Thanks for the info. Which webbing did you get? Was it the textured yarn type? Please post pics! I'm dying to see what it looks like.

Thanks
David

Still struggling to post pics. I'll email maggie and see if there is any hope for me.
I ordered my webbing from Do it yourself tactical. Janice can steer you in the right direction.

Don't have any complete MC kit to show, but the following is where you can see an IR test on the new straps. Looks like good stuff and I'm also interested in what happens here.

Check your email. I sent you two pics. I'm thinking they are to big to post and I can't remember how to downsize them. I'll have to wait for Tech Support(wife):)

No Problem

Now, how in the BEEP did you post them pics?
I'm wondering if my computer being 5 years old already is the problem??

Ummm...it's not your computer.

What you do is you go upload your pics on photobucket or some other similar service and then put the URL to the pic between image tags...(open bracket img close bracket, then the URL to the pic, open bracket, "/" img close braceket, etc. I can't turn off the img code on here or I'd give an example...)

Or just quote me and look at the code just below this sentence...

Yea. I use photobucket. Just create an account, upload your pics to there, and then you can just copy and paste the img URL they give you. Very, very easy.

Now that I saw your E&E, I'm thinking I might order one of those in MC for my son to use, as he loves my X-Ray, but it's too big for him ( He's 3 ).

The Liter Plus pouch would gain the greatest aesthetic (yeah, yeah just roll it in the mud) benefit from this webbing treatment.
