Have it for hunting dogs, pets, training advice, medical advice, pics, exemplary acts, and so on? Perhaps open it up to pack animals, horses, and others as well?

That would be great! I always liked a good picture and story of animals working(doing what they enjoy most).

Gotta love dogs. Hard to keep them away from porcupines though.

I vote yes. Dogs are our best friends and maybe even save our lives. They can be worth more than an extra man on an excursion. Just ask Amundsen!

Here is my little Boston Terrier hiking partner. I grew up with Labs all my life but we got this little guy about 8 months ago. I suprised at how well he kept up he was about 40 yards ahead of me all the time. Here he is at the top of the mountain in the White Mountains of Arizona.

It's amazing how you take them for granted until something happens to them. A couple of weeks ago, getting my kids to feed and care for our lab was like pulling teeth. Then he stopped eating and drinking, so we took him to the vet. A swollen lump in his throat about the size of a golf ball. It was either an infection or a tumor. A week of painkillers and antibiotics and the swelling has gone down, so most likely not a tumor. Probably a bone shard tucked away back there.
But NOW, the kids take him for a walk twice a day, love to feed and baby him like crazy. They sure don't want to lose him! And he is sucking up every drop of it :).

Heres a few of my pal Cody! American Bulldog/Pitbull Mix. I have one of him in the snow for the first time, one of him sitting in the yard smiling, and a third of him wondering what I keep pointing at him! Hope you guys enjoy! He is 110% lover! This guy has been everywhere with me since the day I got him!
