Looking at the Claymore pockets (g2) I see that the horizontal is available in malice clips, is this available in dock n lock as well?
Does the CM mount to a Scout pretty well?
If I go LnD do the straps mate to each other so as not to dangle when off the main pack if I want to use it by itself?
I reviewed Mel's thread on the g2 CM's and would like the LnD but be able to use it stand alone as soon in the thread.

Ready to order as soon as I hear something!

Hey ppfd, the horizontal mount Claymore does not come in a Dock n Lock version. On the Dock n Lock Claymore, there are tabs on the back where you can click in the SR buckles when carrying it on it's own. The D&L Claymore will fit the Scout. In fact, check out the pics of the Scout in the link below, showing the new Mid Long Pockets on a Scout. Those are the same height as the D&L Claymore. Hope this helps.

The Claymore D&L will work nicely on a Scout.

There is webbing on the side of the pouch opposite the D&L straps to take them up while off-pack evident in the "dimensions" photo at the bottom the Claymore Pouch product page.

A pair of those Claymores is prob'ly gonna be among my first G2 purchases...

So do you all think the horizontal CM would be too long for the front of the scout or on the lid?

Horizontal Claymore will be too big for the top of Scout IMHO.

The best pouch for the lid of a Scout is the Mini Long Mel has pics up of (first post, first pic, top of thread).

I use a G1 Scout that Amanda was nice enough to have G2-style MOLLE webbing sewn on to the lid for me when they were doing custom work. Pretty much a perfect fit.
