This pack has been making the rounds on the forum, where it has been serving as a "gateway drug" for those on their way to a Kifaru pack. It is a vintage production Mountainsmith Crestone III. You can check out a review here:

It is a pretty neat design with a full length front zipper protected by side release buckles and a front pocket. There is a large top lid that converts to a fanny pack. There are also side mesh wand/bottle pockets with drawstring tops. This is a good sized pack at 6100ci.

This is definately a used pack, but is still in very good working condition. The hipbelt is a size medium.

$80 plus actual shipping charges from 97701

Pete,

You'll like the pack. My wife had one for about 10 years. Good purchase.

Sold pending funds. Paul, I think this *is* the pack your wife had for 10 years. Didn't you sell it to Scot a year or two ago? He never used it because of the size M hipbelt...

Ha, ha! :D Yes, I think it is! I had forgotten to whom it was sold. A very small world, this is!
