I have a British L1A1 built on a DSA receiver. Has the correct flash hider w/ bayonet lug. Comes with bayonet w/ scabbard, issue British sling, scope mount top cover as well as standard top cover, cleaning gear, stripper clip mag loader, front sight protector, fifty (50) 20 round magazines all loaded with South African and Australian .308 ammo (1000 rds total) and three Tactical Tailor MOLLE mag pouches.
I'm considering the possibility of trading it for a good bolt action tactical rifle. Looks like this rifle, mags and ammo will keep increasing in value considering today's political climate.
Let me know what you have.

Are you willing to sell the ammo separately (without the mags)?

IComes with... scabbard,

Impressive, when I had an L1A1 I could never find one, especially with the frog and not beat to death.

I now have pic's I can send via email. If someone wants to post them for me that would be great. I don't have a cash price right now. I want to see what kind of trade offers I get. Some are asking me to sell just the 1000 rounds of Aussie and S/A ammo seperate. I'd only do that if someone wanted the rifle w/o the ammo. It took alot of effort to accumulate the ammo and mags for this rifle so I wouldn't want to be left with a rifle and no ammo for it.
I'm pretty sure that's some sort of mortal sin.
Feel free to email me for pic's.

If you do sell 'em separately, I'd be interested in some mags, with or without the ammo.

Assuming these are the inch mags that would normally go with an L1A1, they will not fit in metric pattern rifles, such as most of the rifles DSA makes.

It's a British (broad arrow marked) kit built on a DSA receiver. It takes metric mags and all the mags are metric. It was built this way due to the more accessable metric mags.

Not sure who the smith was. I bought the rifle aprox. four years ago from one of the old timers from the FAL files. In the time I've had it I've put close to 1500 rounds through it without a single malfunction.

Possibly nestled in a Ratas Calientas receiver wrench at some point! :)

OK...OK...
I keep getting people asking me for a cash price so I did some research on gunbroker and a couple other sites. I won't seperate the mags and/or ammo unless the rifle sells or is traded first. I'll sell the rifle with it's accessories (bayonet, sling, cleaning gear, sight cover, stripper clip loader, three TT mag pouches and scope mount top cover) for $1000 plus shipping to your FFL. Only after the rifle is gone I'll sell the mags (50ea) for $500 plus shipping and the ammo (1000rds) for $500 plus shipping.
I had a hard time finding info on the mags. It looks like everyone is out of them.

If I lived in CO...

and had 2 grand lying around...

That is a very fair price for everything, maybe too fair depending on condition of the mags.

I'll sell the mags (50ea).....

I hope they find a home, but I've lost my interest.
