What is the tear strength in PSI of the parachute fabric? Can a Paratipi be stuffed into a XL pullout? Thanks.

Sovereign--

We can't find the "official" specs just now. So I'll go with this: double the tear strength of traditional 1.9oz. ripstop nylon. It will fit into a Large pull-out easily (would get lost in an XL). The stuff we use is the official competition paraglider fabric, and has to meet all kinds of tests, accordingly. Very tough, in other words. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, Patrick. I am considering this as a replacement for my Hilleberg Akto, as I rarely use the inner tent. More room, simpler, same weight... Seems like it will pack smaller and easier, too. I need all the space I can get with the Pointman. Hilleberg lists the tear strength of their fabric at 33 p.s.i., so I was just curious. By the way, how much do the poles weigh? Thanks!
