Well Doctorrich suggested it over in airsupport\'s garage sale Steel Heart offering (http://forums.kifaru.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=000654) ( thread which has been sort of hijacked by us Busse lovers ).

And I, as a brand new Busse owner can't resist the urge to show off my new shiny thing to the other Busse admirers on these boards.

So here it is a Busse pr0n thread.

Hogs, post you Busse pr0n here.

To get things rolling, here's mine.
It's only one, and it's only a little(-ish) one, but you gotta start somewhere.

Desert Crinkle Hell Razor with Tan micarta scales. And it's a user.

Click the images for higher res versions.

With Spec Ops Combat Master Sheath:

In Spec Ops Combat Master Sheath:

Innaugural firewood chop:

Spent about an hour and a half chopping and splitting wood and she still slices paper, with no re-touching.
INFI magic.

And you gotta love the Busse 1911/Jack Hammer (http://www.bussecombat.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=002297) combo.
Poetry in carbon steel (http://www.bussecombat.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=002298) .

And for all you Rats, have you checked out the posts on the Rat Chat forum - the new Rat line, plus some future specials have sort of been announced - and there are some beauties!
New Rats (http://www.swampratknifeworks.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=10;t=004375) .

This thread is a good guide to names and sizes (http://www.swampratknifeworks.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=10;t=004379) of the new Rats.
***y as f**k.

I'm pretty lucky.
The Blade Show is here in Atlanta, Ga this weekend.
I'm leaving work at 11:30 to go check it out. And I'll be there alot of the day tomorrow.

My only Busse (so far, Steel Heart incoming)... it's a new Hell Razor. Seen here with Multicam goodness at airsupport's suggestion.

Just matches, doesn't it? I can't bring myself to chop anything yet...

Looks great Doc, is there any room for some Rat's? I am running dial up now (just bought a house and the budget is tight so we had to change phone providers) so bear with me on getting pics up.

</div></div>Gotta admit I made a very firm decision before I bought mine that it was gonna be a user and made sure to use it as early as possible so I didn't end up agonising over it (too much) and then growing into a habit of not using it.

I love the Hell Razor, I think it is a better general purpose design than some of the larger, thicker Busse's and really like it aesthetically and from a use perspective.

That said, however I reckon I might like a "real" chopper at some time in the future. I obviously reserve the right to buy more, bigger and fatter INFI.

Contemplating one of those new Rats for the chopper, when they are released, but am in a conundrum about whether I want to "slum it" or not.

At the Blade Show Busse, Swamp Rat and Scrap Yard Knives were all set up together.
They are owned by the same family or differant relatives.
I really liked the Hell Razor and the Swamp Rat Mischief 7.

I have a Battle Mistress E, and find the handle a little large. Is the Hell Razor handle a little smaller?

To me, the handles on the HH and Hell Razor are about the same size. So, where's the pics of the Battle Mistress E???? /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Not sure about the BME handle, but my mate has a Steel Heart Ergonomic and from subjective memory the scales on that are thicker than the 'Razor - which is the main reason I chose non Magnum slabs on my 'Razor.

I have small hands (eg a double stacked 45 like a Para Ordnance is difficult for me to shoot properly), but if I made the choice again I'd go for the Magnum slabs on the 'Razor.

Click the link below to see some shots of my Hell razor and my mate's Steel Heart Ergo with a ruler so you can gauge handle size.

And yeah, where are the pics?

This is after all a porn thread!

Here we are. The sheath was made by Survival Sheath. Fantastic workmanship. I can't say enough about the customer service and product. The TekLok will work nicely with my Kifaru gear.

I just picked up a mud razor ot the extravaganza. No pics yet. Gear addictions are painful. I have a Ratweiler that gets used everyday. For your viewing pleasure, a pic of a BR in the process of having pants put on it.I made the sheath for a friend.

Cool Utilikilt. Got one just like it. Nice to see others out there embracing the breeze.

And in keeping in line with the thread I am not currently in possession of a Busse. I had and used one about 15 years ago but sold it upon leaving the service to buy textbooks. I guess I need to get with the program and put one back in the inventory. That Hell Razor looks like a good pick.
