I'm too lazy to introduce myself~~Almost a year after Registered~~~ /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Same as wolfmen, I'm another Kifaru Anonymous in Hong Kong /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif . 2 years ago I learned Kifaru Military Gear from MilitaryMoron's review /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif . Visit this forum almosts a year. Then placed my first order in last summer and keep upgrading my gears. Last week I placed my 5th order!! /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
In the city where's tons of re-pro nylon gears around. I feel happy to use 120% reliable Kifaru gears!!! It is expensive. But worth to pay. /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
I'll post some pics about my gears. I Hope we make more experience exchange soon.

Hey john. show us what you have in Kifaru line.

I m stilling preparing my 2nd order list.
Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth it.

And the most exciting things.
We can share our gears(photo), experience and same addiction in this great forum.

Just back from volunteer photographer work today(so tried). And snapped few shots about my TG1+belt /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif . Use as camera bag~~ /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

I almosts used all PALS channels /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif . Molle gears From left to right:
-BHI AR Double mag pouch as Canon Camera Flash pouch.
-Maxpedition MINI Rollypoly pouch as my "Reserve Lens dump pouch"
-DBT Velco Panel plus
a. Flight badge from http://www.flightbadge.com (http://www.flightbadge.com)
b. Blue nametape "Photographer" from http://www.1800nametape.com (http://www.1800nametape.com)
c. F/G Evil smile, Fear meter and Common sence meter patches from http://www.nametags4U.com (http://www.nametags4U.com)
-Emdom pistol pouch as Surefire 6P pouch
-Maxpedition Rollypoly pouch as my "Primary Lens dump pouch"

Since I'm using my old Canon EOS 300D camera, 18-85mm and 28-300mm Lens. I need some method for change lens rapidly /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif . I think "Dump pouch" concept is the best way for me /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif . Of course, before and after photographer work. I'll place all camera gears inside the pack for the best protection.

Later I'll add Emdom's Large Utili-Shingle Stackable Pocket between the pack and the velco panel. For easy access for spare batteries, memory cards..etc

Any comments?? Feel free to let me know what you think!!

Hey John, welcome to the discussions. I like your setup here. I too am interested in making a Tailgunner (and/or Maurader) into a camera bag. How do you have your gear inside the bag set up? Did you place dividers inside the bag or do you keep everything in an individual pouch? Also, do you feel the TG1 allows quick access to your other lenses for switching them?

I'd be interested in seeing how you set it up also.

Nice to some posts of Kifaru gear in black. Don't see too much of that. Nice set up for your camera duty. /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

Sorry for very late reply~~ /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

There's nothing special about the setting inside the TG2. I used civil camera pouch for my EOS 300D/Rebel + EFS 17-55mm len.
But 2 weeks ago I upgraded my camera to EOS 30D + Battery grip + EFS 18-85mm len. As a result, the whole DSLR set become bigger and cannot fit in the old pouch. So I use Black PVS-7A NVG soft case (Bought from ebay, case only). for the DSLR body. And use Spec Ops Brand X-4 pouch for the len. /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
I'll add some pictures about the setting soon.

Check pictures below about my Marauder with nice HK harbour view yesterday. No special setting on the pack. Hope you'll like it~
