Do you guys know who makes a decent carrier for the IBA vests. I am looking to upgrade to a better preformance package. Thanks Medic17

TAG Spartan is pretty nice and HSGI also makes one.

TT makes one. It's not on the website, you have to contact them. I think there is a reveiw over at lightfighter.net LF TT IBA cover reveiw (http://lightfighter.net/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/9046084761/m/6001028191/p/1)

HSGI Centurion reveiw (http://lightfighter.net/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/9046084761/m/8211098902/r/3411033012#3411033012)

Careful guys...

http://www.defenselink.mil/news/Mar2006/20060331_4676.html

I know we're talking about the cover, which has no ballistic-protective properties, but Uncle Sam is clamping down.

Yep, the Frankenstein approach (IBA+SAPI+DAPS+soft-side pro+side SAPI+hard nard guard) for body armor will continue for a long time to come. Looking forward to summer in Baghdad. Not.

And now there will be an entrenched mindset that will be the rule of the day, after someone like Egg or Patrick or the Crye Bros. or their ilk cracks the code and builds a backward-compatible integrated protective solution that lets you bust a 6-second 40 with Basic Load+ in 130 degree heat and takes multiple Hellfire hits and costs half a month's buck sergeant pay, after which you still get the chicks 'cuz it looks kewl.

But the guy who insisted last year that you bring your ALICE Medium into theater now has a new reg to misquote next year.

Sign me up, baby. Indef.

Uh huh.
