Has anyone used this product?
I am going on R and R next month and heading to civilization. I plan on hiting the hostels in europe. I have a Zulu. Do you think this product will keep the honest theif out of my pack while I out exploring the area? and will it fit my zulu?

I could see how under the right circumstances that would work.Although it might just red flag your gear as "hey theres valuble **** in here"

I've seen these but never used them. As I recall they were originally designed to prevent a pack from getting hung up in the baggage handling process. Axis has a point, but wrapping the whole thing in a cheap, nondescript duffle might discourage pilfering without attracting attention.

I have one, they are a slight pain to use--think of trying to map fold a slinky. they are good for locking down the bag to a post or bedframe so someone can't lift while you sleep. they will pack small, but heavy.

They do scream TOURIST WITH EXPENSIVE TOYS. I agree about a cheap light dirty duffel as urban camo. Any good wire cutter can get through them in a couple clips. But a knife won't.
