Maybe this should be in the hunting forum, but I thought I might get more responses about a scout in here.

Anyone ever attach a bow to a scout? If so, how?

compound or recurve? for hiking in or ready access?

look at the aux gunbearer pics for ideas. I have carried a bow that way, with the quiver on the other side. It was a bigger pack, but should work. I used one end of this to make the sling:

Compound for hiking in.

My buddy has a sling that attaches on one shoulder, sort of like a harness for a pistol shoulder holster, then runs across his shoulders and down his left arm, I think, that works okay for short walks. I was thinking of some way to attach it like with a gunbearer, though without worrying about having to get at it quickly.

just like this, use horizontal lash straps as needed. I used just a slotted buckle (both sides) in adjacent PALS loops to hold the string.
