Any word on these and if we decided on the motto yet? I know we're all gearing up for hunting so everyone's busy...just curious.

Hi Jim, the hats are being embroidered as we speak. The "theme" is one of the ones mentioned most by participants. Hope you like it....

Great news!! Can't wait and thanks for the update Patrick.

The theme is one of the ones mentioned most...hmmm...lemme guess...

It's just a little further!
That was not six miles!

But it *was* six miles, I GPSd it. I still wouldn't put a little bit of sandbagging past you if the opportunity arose...

"Sandbagging" is a nice word when applied to Bushcraft. Why don't you just say what you really think. /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Me...sandbag? I'm not sure if I'm even familiar with the concept. /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

I never got a 06 ECR hat. Maybe better luck next year. If not for other responsibilities I would have flown out west. Looked over the treads and seemed like a great time. Liked the fly fishing for those little brookies. So much darn snow at the ECR all I could do was eat and shoot a boat load of 9mm and 7.62 X 39 out of the front door of the 4-man. Still a good time but hard to beat fly fishing.

Hat arrived today.."Carnivores Fest" theme. Thanks Patrick and all of the Kifaru team!!

JBR is making a splash in his "rookie year". He carried in what I guess was the heaviest pack (a sign of physical strength, not necessarily wise packing /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif ), caught lots of fish which he prepped beautifully and shared generously, took lots of good pictures, etc.and now he nails the theme. You're going to really have to be on top of your game to do better than this next year /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Any pictures of the hats?

Mine just arrived. I'm trying to get elected to one of the slots on the site council of the hippie school my daughter goes to. I'm thinking the "carnivore fest" hat will help my campaign quite a bit. Thanks Patrick.

Nice backdrop Randy!

Thanks for the hats Patrick. Class as usual. My wife said it was the best made bill hat she had ever seen (really like the tuck in for the size adjust band). I've already been "spoken to" by the vegans here at work so wearing it has its bonuses (anything I can do to get under their skin is wonderful).

nice hat already pimped it once. although unfortunately the motto does have me salivating for some of Kevin's meat products and next year is a long way off.

A very big "Thank You" for the Carnivore Fest hats!

Can you believe it....I'm still waiting for mine!! You guys are all teasing me, here - comm'on now. And by the way, I'm definately learning how to par-down the pack contents, but I have to say that Kevin B was right up there with me in the "heavy pack" catergory (was that a half rack or a case you packed in on the cargo chair Kevin?) Thanks to Bushcraft and a few of us, it was getting lighter for you on the trail as we packed in, that's for sure.

Meanwhile, I'll keep waiting...

I know you were all worried about the fact that I hadn't received my 2007 NW Rondy hat, but have no fear, I called today and had a great conversation with Patrick and I will have my hat in no time. You can all go on with your lives now... /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
