Hello!
What types of boots do folks here use when carrying backpacks?
Do you need or suggest a full leather model in order to give your feet support when carrying a backpack?
Anyone here have any idea on who is the U.S. distributor for RAICHLE (Swiss) boots in U.S.A.?
Thanks!

I use Lowa Trekkers, which are a full leather boot. I have a set of lightweight Montrail hikers as well. The Lowas are by far the best boots I've ever owned. I could walk for weeks in the Lowas with Pointman. /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
