I would love to get to one of the rondys but I live in SC. Are there any plans to have rondy anywhere close to me in the future?

Thanks

Be careful... You could find yourself drafted.

I don't know how much interest there would be but I could have a mini rhondevous at my farm in CT. Probally not alot of shooting just fishing and camping. Doug

South or East US -- you mean like Kansas or Texas? You can't really go much further unless you cross the Mississippi. I'm not sure what is on the other side of that, but I'm pretty sure it is a different country /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

I knew an NPS ranger who maintained that man could not survive west of the Mississippi. He observed that he would go out there every year and it was always the same... on fire.

/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif funny! But without a nice fire paycheck, how do you suppose a guy is going to put himself through college? /images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

I'm in God's country (Alabama for those of you that didn't get the memo). I'm up for anything in TN, MS, GA or AL.

Yeah, we need something that midwesterners can get to. I vote for TN

I would also like to see a rondezvous in the south east. Seems like the three big things to decide are where, what season, and how close to a road. Tennessee is fine with me. Not my neck of the woods but a quick look at the map shows the largest pieces of public land are in the east. I'd vote for after deer season but while squirrel is still in (January February).

Cold weather would be my choice also.
Maybe Februrary.

Western NC , around Asheville might be a good choice.

I'd be up for it anytime after December. That's when our bear season goes out.

As someone hosting on private land is unlikely, perhaps the spot should be in a national forest near a public rifle range.

Not all spots are firearm friendly.
